Virtual Sketch Outing

JOIN US TOMORROW for a VIRTUAL OUTINGSATURDAY,  MARCH 21, 10:00 - NOON

Since we had to cancel our in person sketch outing this Saturday, let's instead do a VIRTUAL sketch outing using the link below (generously provided by the Ledyards), Google Images or Street View! We'll still use Xavier University as our subject matter, but instead of meeting up in person, let's sketch from our couches and the comfort of our homes. Find an image of Xavier University and draw it at home.

Let's try and use the same schedule - 10am start time. Wherever you are in your sketch at 12pm, post of a picture of your sketch for our virtual sketch throw down!Let's keep the creativity alive during this "social distancing". Don't forget to use the hashtag #USKatHome.

URGENT  MESSAGE REGARDING SATURDAY'S EVENT

The administrators have made the unfortunate decision to cancel Saturday's sketch outing at Xavier University.

While we can't stop anyone from getting outside and sketching, we are mandated to follow the USK advisement to avoiding sketching in groups.  We encourage you to sketch using safety measures and following social distancing requirements.  Utilize the #USKatHome hashtag and sketch, sketch, sketch.  

Watch for details of a possible virtual sketch outing on Saturday.

Regarding the Coronavirus outbreak:

We currently plan to keep with our schedule.

-We are making decisions day to day so check before any event on the blog or Facebook.

-It is up to you if you feel comfortable coming out. Please follow the advice of your doctor and the CDC.

-Please do not attend if you are unwell or have recently traveled to any of the high-risk areas.

-Follow widely available advice about hugging, handshaking, and other close contact with others.

-If you decide not to take part in the outings, do please post your drawings on our Facebook, Instagram, etc…

-Keep sketching!
