Sketch with us Saturday, November 17th at the University of Cincinnati!

UC is a wealth of architecture, old and cutting edge new. The building above is the Molecular Studies building by Frank Gehry.

We will meet on the McMicken side on TUC at 10 am.

Outing to the Warbirds Museum

Most of the sketching crew at the Warbirds Museum in Batavia
The coolest thing about the Tri-State Warbirds Museum is that all the vintage planes really fly!

The signs caught my eye when I was in the area for an art show at Clermont College. It looked like a great place for an indoor outing, even though it was a beautiful day out.

Outing to Walnut Hills Cemetery

Sketch by Lauren Wells

We have sketched at Spring Grove Cemetery many times so this year we decided to try a new cemetery to sketch in. Walnut Hills Cemetery is packed with old gravestones and statues.

It was perfect for our October outing. Right when we got there as we discussed where to sketch I pointed to an area I was scoping out and a branch immediately broke. I said, "Well not THERE obviously..."
