Urban sketching knows no limits. Your city, your style, your level of experience—whatever makes your urban sketches unique, it’s welcome in our global sketchbook. It is a space to learn, tell stories, and bring sketchers together.

One of our goals is to create a collaborative sketchbook where sketchers from our global community can showcase their world through their unique perspectives.

We invite you to join us in this creative venture. Share your on-location sketches and make them even more colorful with vibrant narratives about your discoveries, observations and thoughts while you were drawing. What’s the story behind it? We are excited to hear all about it.

Quick reminder for this month's regular sketch outing which will be in Washington Park in Over-The-Rhine, downtown Cincinnati at 10 am.  This is your chance to sketch historic Music Hall, or the lovely gazebo.  Or maybe you'll sit in the dog park and do some gesture sketches of the local pooches.  Either way, it's a fun place to draw!

Parking is available in the square under the garage or, if you have cash, you can park at the CET lot just a couple blocks away for only $3 for the day.  If you park at a meter, set yourself an alarm to keep up with it as the meter-readers do love an opportunity to ticket!!

Sketch the Columbus Ship replicas!

Cincinnati Urban Sketchers will meet in Newport, Kentucky to sketch the Columbus ship replicas which are in town until September 17th.  We will sketch from 3 to 5 pm and may go out for a pint afterwards at a brewery.  Do join us!
